Because Westlake and LT's game was cancelled, and because of the way their district played out, both LT and Westlake will be D1 for the playoffs. This means that there is no real juggernaut that Judson has to face along the way to the title game. This is their most unobstructed path in years and one they should try to take full advantage of. Of course, COVID will play a part in how all the playoffs will work out but, if these games can get played, I would think the Rockets have their best chance in quite some time to win a title.

Rockets did not look like a Semifinal contender against SV last night. Too many penalties in the first half, poor special team play, critical TO inside the red zone and extremely poor secondary play. hats of to SV QB who did a great job of throwing the ball and to Coach Hill for a great game plan. SV played great line technique to overcome the athleticism of the Rockets.....again. Judson passing was predictable: quick out or down the sideline. SV is more vulnerable over the middle, either short or long. Both teams were hitting har, but SV just seemed to play with more intensity. Give the ball to Lewis 30 times a game until they opponents consistently stop him.

Seemed like Rangers executed better and just had their kids in the right spots at the right times. Judson is a very fast team they just need to execute better. This is a new coaching staff so may just take time to get it together. May also be a situation of SV starting to peak at the end of the season.

While I think they still have the talent to make a deep playoff run, they are still vulnerable and could lose in the 2nd round to Vandegrift. I can't see them getting past Katy though-should they make it that far.

I have no idea what happened to Judson over the course of these last two games but I would have never anticipated them losing in the first round to Roosevelt. Major letdown for the rockets, to say the least.
