Oh god South San. They can be competitive, but they got one of the worst alignments in the state.

Oh god South San. They can be competitive, but they got one of the worst alignments in the state. Yup UIL did not do them any justice at all I simply do not understand the way they split up the NSISD by leaving 9 in one district and moving Brandeis and Clark over into the NEISD district. They could have just as easily split the NSISD up 5 & 6 and then sprinkled in teams to fill those two districts in. R1 60 teams R2 60 teams R3 59 teams R4 66 teams 25 Vandegrift Vista Ridge Hutto Round Rock RR McNeil RR Stony Point RR Westwood RR Cedar Ridge 26 Austin A Akins A Bowie Lake Travis Westlake Hays Consolidated Del Valle San Marcos 27 Steele Smithson Valley Judson New Braunfels East Central Wagner Clemens South San 28 Brandeis Clark Churchill Johnson Lee MacArthur Madison Reagan Roosevelt 29 Brennan Harlan Holmes Jay Marshall O'Conner Stevens Taft Warren 30 Del Rio Eagle Pass L Alexander L Johnson L Nixon L United L United South 31 Edinburg Economedes Edinburg North Vela La Joya Juarez-Lincoln Mission PSJA PSJA North 32 Hanna Rivera Donna North Harlingen Harlingen South Los Fresnos San Benito Weslaco

With addition of Clark and Brndeis did that make 28 stronger?

With addition of Clark and Brndeis did that make 28 stronger? Yes. Looks like the D2 second seed from our district will likely get Brandeis in round 1. Hey, that’s better than Westlake.

also be interested to see how things play out for westlake in regards to whether or not they go D1. it may come down to how bowie peforms (and austin).

With addition of Clark and Brndeis did that make 28 stronger? I would have to say yes via Brandeis moving in.

LT is certainly getting in each year so that leaves one D1 spot left which means if either DV or Bowie get in WL will go D2. That said, I don't see much changing in this district with the 4 playoff teams the next two years. LT D1 WL D2 Bowie D1 Hays Cons D2

Express or KSAT article, both coaches said the tradition game would continue, Bronco Dad. Congrats on a really good season last year. Welcome to the Broncos and Cougars to the Northeast meatgrinder although it makes a Mavs three pete as undefeated district champs pretty unlikely. With 9 teams in both 28 and 29, that means 2 non district and 8 district games. Northside has 2 stadiums and Northeast has 2. Makes for an interesting game/stadium schedule, T-F-S and bidates, etc.

i'm hearing that steele's non-district schedule will consist of reagan, killeen ellison and pflugerville hendrickson Wo we went out and scheduled a 4-6 Hendrickson team that was blown out by several opponents including Smithson Valley 43-15 and an Ellison team that went 3-7 whos only wins came over Waco, Copperas Cove, & Killeen. SMH hendrickson was bad last year but they have had decent teams in the past so not sure what to expect there. fortunately, district will be tough enough to make up for the lackluster non-district schedule.
