Might as well start up the thread given last week’s snapshot day. So how’s everything looking as far as SA/R4 is concerned and how do y’all think will everything turn out?

They are supposed to be available on DCTF but you have to be a member to see them.

yeah, you have to become an insider to get the numbers. if anyone happens to get them, it would be greatly appreciated if they were shared.

I’m interested in seeing what they’re gonna do with Northside. Harlan should be coming up to 6a please correct me if I’m wrong.

Northside ISD is going to split. SW and Legacy will remain 5A. NB Canyon looks like they will drop. Wagner will probably move up based on their submitted numbers. What am I missing?

I’ve also heard a few Austin schools might be dropping (Lehman, maybe Hays???) So that might push them back to R2. Might see something like this 25: Judson, Wagner, Clemens, Steele, NB, SV, EC, SM??? 26: NEISD 27: Northside ISD (6) 28: Northside ISD (5), South San, CC Vets Memorial???

I heard that The Valley is losing 6A schools, so that may shift the Laredo schools to The Valley. That may pull some of the Northside schools to district 29, which is on the south side of the bracket.

MacArthur may be close to moving down. The last I heard is that they were about a hundred or so over the projected line.

The biggest wild card is how the UIL will split the 11-school Northside ISD. It’s difficult to predict the districts when this is such an unknown. Will you have an 8-team all-NISD district with 3 rogue schools cast aside to another district? Or will you see an even 5 schools in one district and 6 schools in another? I think Cy-Fair is also an 11-team district also. I need to see what the UIL does there. Stand by guys. As a matter of equity, it may be better to evenly split the district. That’s just my opinion though. The 3 that are cast off in an uneven split probably won’t like it and feel singled out.

Gotta have that Whatabowl every year.
