Please talk about your thoughts, which should be a great game.

It’s hard to gauge this game since Clear Springs is not a local team and I don’t know much about them
Wagner did as expected. United South is a decent team.
I’ve always said that rivalry games don’t go by records or stats. Judson wins another close one.

Clear Springs was the 11th best 6-A team in the Houston area according to Vype Sports. They were forecast to finish in second place in their district race. Clear Springs had won the last three championships in 24-6A.

I am not sure what all Wagner brings back from last year. I am picking Judson just because they are Judson.

Judson should win this one, however, it could be close. Hard to pick the spread. The Judson coach said they were down 2 rb's and 3 receivers the first game. They could have easily put a couple more scores on the board if not for two turnovers in the red zone. So the Judson offense is not too much of a question, it's the defense. They gave up 3 big scoring plays against Clear Springs. Only having one returning starter on D could be the reason for that. We know Wagner has a potent offense as well. This could be a track meet. Just don't know.
Go Rockets!!

The two WR are huge one is about 6’4’” and 220 pounds a real beast, the other is Shelton who was clutch last year. One they return look out to go along with a very good QB and probably the best RB in the city.

Great rivalry game here and could either be just like last year and a pretty good game, or a blowout. Either way I will stay with J-Rock in getting the W!

I am not sure what all Wagner brings back from last year. I am picking Judson just because they are Judson. well, the main loss for wagner is their QB, who will have to gain experience running that split T veer offense that they ran so well last season. i also think judson will take it again this season, and likely by a bigger margin than last year's game.

Judson defense still in learning mode and the type of offense that Wagner runs makes preparing defensively interesting. Judson offense will be too much for the T-Birds. Rockets by 17+

I was wrong on my prediction by a few points. Judson Offense and Wagner miscues wee too much for the T-Birds. Wagner scored both TD's against back-ups. good to see Coach Rutledge and Gibbens at the game last night.

What happened? Is Judson improved over last year that much? Me thinks maybe Wagner isn’t a good. Wow what a blowout.

Wagner is very talented again, the only thing they are missing right now is a QB. Wagner has a very big team and has good speed, the difference for me was that Judson has weapons all over the field. Judson has always had weapons, but not in the since of 4 WR that ate 6’3” or taller that can all jump and are extremely quick. Judson’s RB who is only a junior is as talent as many before him, and Chandler is a difference maker. Judson fate will be with the defense, if they improve good things will happen, if not Judson will have score more points to help the defensive issues.

I totally agree on the Wagner QB issue, That Veer offense is more effective if your QB is a threat to run and throw which Wagner QB is not. He'll get better but you cant teach speed. JR stacked the box and played the run. Would like to see them do well. Go JISD
