Great job by Coach Pederson to keep the team focused after being down 13-0.
But I question those "pooch" kickoffs. Permitting the opponent to start at the 35-40 yard line is not good. Also, the problem is the "pooch" kick is not high enough to permit close coverage. If the kicker can't improve the height or can't hit the end zone, Coach P needs to visit with the soccer coach to find someone.

Yeah FNL, I sure got spoiled with our kicking game last year. Soccer and football are two different cultures. To a soccer player, a 30 or 40 yard kick is generally a pass to a teammate which needs to get there as soon as possible. Maybe all that's needed is an explanation of what result is expected from that distance's kick on the football field. A good soccer player can make the ball do just about anything he wants it to.
